Account & registration

How do I create an account?
Click "Sign up free" → fill in your personal details (name, email, phone, password) → fill in your company details (name, VAT/CUI) → confirm your email. The whole process takes ~2 minutes.
What account types are there?
Carrier (searches freight, offers trucks, bids on auctions), Broker (searches and offers, hybrid), Direct Client (posts freight, organises auctions), Partner (special role for platform partners).
Can I have multiple users under the same company?
Yes. From Settings → Sub-users, the main account can add team members with their own permissions. Limits depend on the subscription plan.
How do I reset my password?
On the Sign in page there's a "Forgot password" link. You'll receive an email with a reset link valid for 1 hour.

Freight & trucks

Who can post freight?
Only Direct Client and Broker accounts can publish freight listings. Carriers search freight and respond to offers.
How does city autocomplete work?
We have a database of 9,631 European cities from GeoNames. Start typing 2+ letters and the system quickly suggests locations with country and postal code.
Can I edit a listing after I've posted it?
Yes, only the original poster can modify the listing. Once assigned to a carrier, it becomes an order and can only be updated via status changes.

Auctions

What is an auction?
A request for offers with a fixed deadline. You post the freight, set a starting price (max accepted), an optional reserve price (below which you won't award), and a closing date. Carriers place bids under the starting price. At close, you pick the winner (manually or automatically, the lowest bid).
Can I withdraw a bid?
Yes, anytime before the auction closes, if your bid hasn't already been declared the winner.
What happens after I win an auction?
The system automatically creates an order with a unique ID (CMD-2026-XXXXX) and connects you with the shipper for loading. The other participants' bids are automatically marked as rejected.

Orders & payment

What's the order flow?
Open → Accepted → Loaded → Delivered → Closed. At each stage, both parties receive a notification. On close, both parties rate each other.
How does payment work?
Payment happens directly between parties, according to agreed clauses. TransportHub doesn't currently broker financial transactions.
Can I report a payment delay?
Yes, via the Incidents section. The "Payment delay" category creates a two-way report, and the other party has right of reply.

Incidents & safety

How does the incident system work?
You can file a report against a company (category: damaged cargo, late delivery, no show, payment delay, fraud, etc.). The other party can reply. Incidents become public only after admin approval.
What is the blacklist?
From Settings → Blacklist you can block a company. Their listings won't show up in your results and they won't be able to bid on your auctions.
Is my data protected?
Yes, GDPR-compliant. Read the details in the Privacy Policy.
